You may find a 0 KD keyword, 48k worldwide searches and feels like WOW !! Then beginner plans to make a blog and start investing time and money in SEO.
But he/she fails... Do you know why?
Here in this screenshot, the keyword is: "how many cups in a liter"
It says Not Clicked 84% because Google has already displayed a conversion calculator as a snippet (first result). So a user will not even check the Page#1 completely.
For such keywords, ranking on the first page may not work.
My Suggestion: Do not waste your time and money without complete keyword research. Always do a manual check considering factors like Target Market, Competitors, and User Conversion Estimates.
